2005 Yamaha Grizzly

I bought a 2005 Grizzly in October 2008. It had 125 hours on it, came with a Moose plow and #3000 Warn winch. I paid $4000 for it.

I immediately performed maintenance as follows:

- changed or/and flushed all fluids
- polished wheels
- greased rear suspension links
- installed thumb and grip heaters
- adjusted valves
- retapped the skid plate bolt holes and installed new bolts.
- retapped hitch bolt holes and installed new bolts.
- lubed shift linkage
- cleaned and lubed clutch sheave weights and checked belt. Width was in spec.
- new grommets on exhaust shield
- leak down test result was 4.6%
- new spark plug
- installed block heater
- new left head light wiring
- cleaned air filter
- cleaned radiator fins

Periodic Maintenance that is required.

In November 08 the left rear axle started popping out. The following links were researched to try and determine why.
